    传统锅炉普遍使用的为三段火(大火、中火、小火),对于某些情况如,热量需求恰好比中火要大但是又远未达到需要大火加热的地步,此时控制器仍会继续使用大火加热,此时温度将快速上升,很快超过设定温度。此时控制器检测到水温已超过温度,于是控制燃烧器改为小火。然而小火又不能满足热量需求,此时锅炉水温就会下降,当下降到一定程度,控制器又将小火转为大火加热。此种方式相比变频控制,不仅温度存在波动,而且有一定的空烧浪费燃气的现象。
